Author talk at Echuca Library

Ruth Morgan is the author of The Whitworth Mysteries, a collection of short crime fiction stories set in and around a fictional rural city located in outback NSW.

Beneath the sunshine of Whitworth lurk dark secrets, deceit and betrayal.

Ruth Morgan spent the first six years of her life on Wilkurra Station, near Pooncarie in outback NSW. She loves telling stories of the characters and outback country she loves.

The harsh landscape with its vast open spaces, floods, trees and isolation are all essential elements in her stories.

Writing since childhood, Ruth was the 2020 winner of the Great Clarendon House Writing Challenge.

Come along and learn more about Ruth’s life growing up in the outback and how The Whitworth Mysteries series was written.

Signed copies of Ruth’s books can be purchased for $25 each (EFTPOS available).

● At Echuca Library, 310 Hare St, Echuca, on Sunday, June 5 at 2.30pm, for book talk and afternoon tea. All welcome, bookings on 54812400 or via www.campaspe.vic.gov. au/library
